Which Louisville assisted living license should my parent look for?

Match the license to the medication need: a social-model ALC for residents who manage their own medications, an ALC-BH when staff must administer medications or monitor health, and an ALC-DC when a secured dementia unit is needed.

In Jefferson County the three license types are spread unevenly: Middletown, Anchorage & the East End has the most licenses, while the Highlands, downtown and the South End have very few. Many East End and Jeffersontown campuses carry both an ALC-BH and an ALC-DC license at one address.
